Welcome to Second Truck Parts. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of secondtruckparts.com and your purchases from Second Truck Parts ("we," "us"). By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Products & condition
We sell new, remanufactured, and quality-inspected used heavy-duty truck parts and salvage vehicles. The condition of every item is stated on its listing, and parts are identified by brand and manufacturer part number. It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm the part number fits their application; our free Verify Fitment service is available before every purchase.
2. Orders, pricing & errors
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We work hard to keep listings, prices, and stock levels accurate, but errors happen; we reserve the right to correct errors, and to cancel and fully refund any order affected by a pricing, inventory, or listing error, at any time before shipment.
3. Cancellations
- Standard orders: cancel free of charge within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours, a cancellation may be subject to a restocking fee depending on processing stage. Once shipped, the order follows our Return & Refund Policy.
- Custom or special orders: may require a non-refundable deposit; cancellations accepted within 24 hours of ordering.
- Freight / oversize shipments: contact us promptly; cancellations after a shipment is in transit incur freight charges.
- Free-shipping orders: if cancelled after shipment, actual shipping costs are deducted from the refund.
- Canada & international: cancellations accepted within 24 hours of ordering; after that, additional charges may apply.
4. Shipping & risk of loss
Shipping terms, transit estimates, and damage-reporting windows are set out in our Shipping Policy. Report shipping damage within 24–48 hours of delivery.
5. Returns & warranty
Returns are governed by our Return & Refund Policy (30 days, RA number required). Most parts carry a 90-day warranty against defects in materials and workmanship; see our Warranty page. Except as expressly stated there, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, products are provided without other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a product or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the product at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including downtime, towing, labor, or lost profits. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
7. Site use & intellectual property
Site content — text, images, data, and design — belongs to Second Truck Parts or its licensors. Automated scraping or harvesting of the site is prohibited; see our Legal Notice. Manufacturer names and part numbers are used for identification and cross-reference purposes only and do not imply affiliation or endorsement.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts serving Buncombe County, North Carolina.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time; the version posted here applies to your use and orders from its posting date.
